The short version: we use it to reply to you, we keep it no longer than we need to, and we never sell it or pass it on.
We decide how the information you send us is used, which makes us responsible for looking after it under UK data protection law.
If you use the form on our site, we receive your name, your email address, your message and, if you give it, your phone number. Our website also notes the date, the page you sent it from, and your device’s IP address and browser type, which helps us spot spam. If you email or ring us, we have whatever you tell us. That is all. We don’t ask for anything else, and we don’t buy information about anybody.
The free calculator and the free safety check run entirely in your browser. Nothing you choose in them is sent to us or stored anywhere.
We use your details to answer you and, if you ask us to, to arrange a call, a check or an audit. No mailing list, no newsletter.
The law allows this because a reply is what you would expect when you get in touch (UK data protection law calls this a legitimate interest) and, where you are asking about working with us, because it is a step you have asked us to take before any agreement.
Your message reaches us by email, which we read in Microsoft Outlook. A copy is kept on our website, hosted by IONOS, so nothing gets lost. A short alert with the same details goes to our phone through the Telegram messaging app, so we see it straight away.
We use these services to run the business; nobody else is given your details. Some of them may store information outside the UK, and each sets out in its own privacy policy how it protects it.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@the-ai-service.com and we will answer within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to accept. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which sees your IP address in the process.
We will update this page if anything here changes. Last updated 1 October 2026.
